This lack of speedy movement also limits Open RvR and doesn't encourage people to do it. I've never once thought of walking all the way to a Destruction Open RvR area simply because it'd take a bit. I'd rather have some kind of, I don't know, War Wagon to take me there.

Quests and Grind

The quests are varied and very entertaining. Shooting cannons, deleivering letters (yes, again you are in full plate with a sword the equivelent of a refridgerator starapped on a stick running around delivering trivial letters.), killing things (obviously) and hunting stuff down (a common deed). You told to find a lot of people throughout the game, most of them are always dead. It makes the quest a bit harder but waving your mouse around the screen until something lights up makes the task easier. Not to say that every now and then one of the chest hunting quests will have you going for a few hours.

The Grind, the infmaous Grind. It's here but I highly doubt you'll want to partake in it. You rarely find huge clusters of mosters (PQs usually have quite a few in a group though) so fighting the dispersed groups can be tedious. All though the combat is fun and varies greatly from class to class, it's better to fight in the PvP scenarios and PQs. Grinding turns out to be pretty worthless in the end since Quest rewards, PQ Loot, and the Renown gear is so much better.

PvP/RvR

The spearhead in the advertsiing for WAR is their special RvR system. Special it is, it also allows for you to play how you would like too. RvR is open, as I explained earlier and in Scenarios, akin to Battlegrounds from WoW. You queue up and wait, then when a game is open you join. The difference is that each race has a different map for each tier (each map plays extremely differently), and you can queue from anywhere. You also get some nice loot and EXP from RvR.

Open RvR is a good feature, although due to lack of travel there's never much of it. If there is it's grossly unbalanced. Too much of one side and not enough of the other. Maybe later in the game this unbalance will be corrected.

Graphics/Sound

I think this is my last catergory. The Sound and Graphics of the game. The Graphics are... good. They didn't blow my away like some others. But they're nice. There's no fancy glow and not really and fancy effects (Smoke or explosions or anything) but they have some nice high poly models and decent textures. Nothing stunningly blowing you away awesome, but like I said, good. They're nice than many other MMOs but I still thing LOTRO beats it.

As for Sound. The music is sparse, you hear little of it not often enough. But there's a lot of ambient sound effects except there's not enough, they're too loud in the wrong places. I'm sitting in a Warcamp with no girl nearby and I'm hearing a chick say "Bugger". It doesn't work. There's no weapon smith or guards playing with weapons and I'm hearing metal clang around. I hear cows and farmers when no cows or farmers are nearby. And I hear these really loud wind that sounds more like an ocean. I guess I can live with it, but I would prefer the ambient sounds not be an infinite loop like they are.
